Narwhal Limited Edition The Pleasure of Writing Fountain Pen - Big Surf

An exclusive limited edition collaboration with Narwhal, the Big Surf is a gorgeous new pen whose design pays homage to the most famous stretch of coastline in the United States. Starting just south of our picturesque location in Carmel-by-the-Sea, Highway One wends south toward the equator with a sheer rock face on one side and the Pacific on the other – it’s a view that needs to be seen to believed.

Featuring a blue swirl along its body highlighted with shimmers of brown and grey, the Big Surf evokes the feeling of the Pacific Coast Highway.  It comes with either a gold clip and trim which captures the brilliance of the California sunshine, or a silver clip and trim reflecting the effervescent ocean surf. A clear ink window enables you to see the level of the piston-fill mechanism and its nib, available in fine or medium, ensures a smooth writing experience.

The Pleasure of Writing Narwhal Big Surf is the final edition celebrating our 30th anniversary, and in homage to our history features Bittner branding engraved on the clip. It comes with two bottles of ink (all Narwhal exclusives: one bottle of Carmel Sea Blue and one bottle of either Maroon Red or Napa Red), and arrives in an engraved brown oak presentation box.
